Double/twin room:	91,00 euro (instead of 130,00 euro)

Quadruple room:	147,00 euro (instead of 210,00 euro)

For a stay of 6 nights or longer you will get a 50% discount on the price of 1 night

How to Book

Fill in the hotel booking form and send it by email to Domus Sessoriana info@domussessoriana.it (cc to us: proietti@iasi.rm.cnr.it); and
Add your credit card details and signature to the form and send it by fax to Domus Sessoriana (Fax number: +39 06 39706445). Your credit card details are needed as a guarantee only (in case of cancellation or no show) and you will NOT BE CHARGED. You may pay at the hotel by credit card (Amex, Mastercard, Visa, Diners) or cash.

Cancellation

No charge for cancellation up to 48 hours prior to the arrival date.
1 night charge for cancellation less then 48 hours prior to the arrival date.
1 night charge for no show.

How to get to Domus Sessoriana

From Leonardo da Vinci Fiumicino Airport

By TAXI
Take an official taxi (white car with a red "taxi" light on top). The fare is approximately 30-40 euro (extra charge at nights and on sundays).

By TRAIN (see timetable) take

either a direct train to the Stazione Termini (departure every 30mins) rail station (about 35 mins).
or a train for Fara Sabina (departure every 20 mins) and get off at Stazione Ostiense rail station (about 30 mins). Then take Metro B to the Stazione Termini rail station (4 stops).

From Stazione Termini take Metro A towards Anagnina. Get off at San Giovanni; then walk to Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (500m). Or else take Bus 649 and get off at the stopVia Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Domus Sessoriana is located at n.10 of Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.

From CIAMPINO airoport

By TAXI

By BUS + TRAIN
From Aeroporto di Ciampino (Ciampino Airport) to Stazione di Ciampino (Ciampino railway station), either take a bus COTRAL (buy a ticket before boarding, see timetable) or a bus Linea 4 Schiaffini (ticket on board, see timetable). The bus stop is just outside the air terminal. From Stazione di Ciampino to Stazione Termini (Termini railway station) take a train (see timetable). From Stazione Termini take Metro A towards Anagnina. Get off at San Giovanni; then walk to Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (500m). Or else take Bus 649 and get off at the stopVia Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Domus Sessoriana is located at n.10 of Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.

By BUS + METRO
From Aeroporto di Ciampino (Ciampino Airport) to Metro A Stazione "Anagnina" (Metro A "Anagnina" underground station) take a bus COTRAL (the same as above, see timetable). From "Anagnina" take a train (there is only one direction available, because Anagnina is the first/last stop) and get off at San Giovanni; then walk to Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme (500m). Or else take Bus 649 and get off at the stop Via Santa Croce in Gerusalemme. Domus Sessoriana is located at n.10 of Piazza Santa Croce in Gerusalemme.

NOTICE: There is no 'hotel' sign on the entrance. However, you cannot miss it: it is just to the right of the entrance of the basilique.

Registration fee and other expenses

Registration fee: 100 euros
Lunches: 25 euros each
Excursion: 15 euros
Banquet: 45 euros

The registration fee covers room hiring, coffee breaks and organizational expenses.
Lunches will be organized at the hotel from monday to friday.
The cost of lunches, excursion and banquet will be charged separately from the registration fee to better take into account accompaying persons and participants not staying all days of the meeting. A participant who takes everything (5 lunches + Excursion + Banquet) will spend 285 euros.

Excursions

We have planned a tour on Tuesday afternoon, January 27th (St. Peter's archeological site was not available on Wednesday 28th).
The schedule is the following:
14:00 - 15:15 Vatican Gardens
15:15 - 17:00 St.Peter's Archeological site (excavations under St.Peter's Basilique)
17:00 - Dinner time: Walk from St.Peter's Basilique to Piazza Navona/Pantheon area with visit of some interesting churches and buildings including the following:
a look at Castel S.Angelo from outside, Via dei Coronari, Piazza Navona, churchs of Sant'Agostino and San Luigi dei Francesi with paintings by Caravaggio and Raffaello, Santa Maria sopra Minerva, Pantheon, stop at the "best coffee shop" in Rome.

We are planning a tour on Saturday morning, January 31st through the area around the Colosseum (Celio hill, with various churches and archeological sites).
