Robust Optimization (RO) is a modeling methodology, combined with computational tools, aimed at addressing optimization problems in which the data is uncertain and is only known to belong to some bounded uncertainty set. In this summer school we shall survey the main results of RO as applied to linear, conic quadratic and semidefinite programming, as well as linear integer programming.

Location

The IASI/ADONET Robust Optimization Summer School 2007 will take place in the worldwide renowned mountain resort Cortina d’Ampezzo,  in the heart of the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomiti with a simple and relaxing environment, and the opportunity to enjoy one of the most renowned and scenic mountain resort. Cortina is located near the world famous city of Venice, where participants can spend the weekend.
