The scope of the Supply Chain Management (SCM) is the integration of all the aspects related to the objective of correct management of the Supply Chain to the aim of reduction of total costs and maximization of the customer service level. A critical point is that the actors of the Supply Chain have generally different , often conflicting, objectives . Moreover, the Supply Chain is a system highly dynamic, from the customer demand to the supply chain actor relations. The scope of this teaching is the discussion and analysis, together with the students, of the most common problems in complex logistic systems. The aim is to apply to the SCM methods and models coming from decision science, operations management, multi-agent systems theory. The development of project works will help to transfer the studied methodologies into industrial case studies. Finally seminars are foreseen in order to let students interact with industry experts.
