Management and control of electrical systems: state of the art and future objectives

Innovation in the management and control of electrical systems is at the heart of the energy transition, a goal of fundamental importance to the international community. This seminar will provide an overview of the state of the art in the development of innovative methodologies in this area and the challenges that remain, both in academia and industry. Particular emphasis will be given to the following topics: control services provided by renewable generation systems, electrical loads and storage systems, intelligent management of multi-energy hubs, equivalent modelling and identification of distribution networks.
